Founded by Richard Boothman, ideostone is a consultancy business helping small and medium-sized businesses to recognise and manage their environmental impact.
Our principal consultant has a wide range of experience and is passionately concerned about the environment. The planet is not at risk from climate change, but the human race certainly is.

Charities
Winchester Action on Climate Change (WinACC)
ideostone actively supports WinACC, a charity working to reduce the carbon footprint of the Winchester District. ideostone is an organisational member of WinACC and our support for them takes the form of time donated to WinACC to enhance their work with the local business community.

The Royal Geographical Society (with IBG)
Our principal consultant donates time on an ad-hoc basis to the RGS (with IBG) where he acts as a Geography Ambassador. This involves attending schools which have signed up to the Geography Ambassador scheme to encourage pupils to study geography at the next level (GCSE; A level; University; or as a career). He has worked with year 9 pupils, encouraging them to study geography at GCSE; participated in a large workshop for year 9 pupils to help them learn about climate change; and presented at a careers evening for year 12 pupils making their choices for University.
